Okay. Guys. So my
independent study project is coming along.
Background for those just tuning in: Doing an independent study project this quarter on censorship of LGBT young adult fiction. This means I get to READ and INTERVIEW AUTHORS AND LIBRARIANS and I get credit for it. Srsly.
This entire project is going to be a website, actually, so I've created a mockup in Photoshop of what I want the eventual outcome to be similar to. I'm trying to get this up and coded tonight so I'm asking for your opinions:
Option #1 - Brighter shade of green
Option #2 - Slightly darker shade of green
EDITED TO ADD:
Option #3 - No background image
Option #4 - No background, just a wide, fluid layout
The only difference between option #1 and 2 is the shade of green.
The blue behind Information is going to be there when a) you hover over any of the links in the menu bar and b) when you are on the Information page or any of its subpages.
Additionally, the Banned Books bit at the top is what will probably be a randomized banned book with, perhaps, a short description and links.
1) Anything you think needs to be changed?
2) Anything that bothers you a little bit?
3) Anything you particularly like?
4) Hans (aka
lafemmedarla) didn't like the green in option #1 so I created option #2. Which do you guys prefer?
5) What do you think about the background?
6) ANYTHING you'd like to comment on.
Oh, in addition to the independent study, I'm using the same topic, only localizing it more for the Pacific Northwest, for my research paper in my Composition class--at the suggestion of both professors, so don't worry. :P
